Dawn graduated from China Pharmaceutical University with a major in Biotechnology in 2019. After graduation, he joined Pharmaron (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and joined Wuxi Guanhe in 2022.

1.What aspects do you primarily value and consider when choosing a company?
First is the growth potential of the platform — only a good platform can allow me to fully showcase my abilities and achieve greater progress. Second is the recognition of value; salary is not only a living guarantee but also a quantitative reflection of professional worth. Finally, the team atmosphere, which to some extent influences my passion for work.

2.What is your job position at Guanhe and what are your main responsibilities?
Currently serving as the Project Lead for Bioanalysis of Macromolecules, my main responsibilities include: ① Overseeing the entire process from method development, validation, sample analysis to protocol and report writing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in compliance with regulations, and with high quality; ② Communicating with internal personnel to ensure timely delivery of project tasks.

3.What aspects of Guanhe have attracted you to work here long-term?
On one hand, the company offers sufficient development space, providing me with opportunities to continuously challenge myself and achieve greater progress and growth. On the other hand, Guanhe’s team possesses excellent professionalism and advanced development concepts: leaders are knowledgeable yet humble; colleagues are eager to learn and mutually supportive, forming a big family at Guanhe. The company always keeps pace with industry development, allowing me to constantly learn new technologies here.

4.Share an unforgettable, touching, or most fulfilling experience you’ve had at Guanhe.
The most unforgettable experience was during the pandemic in July 2022. Due to pandemic lockdowns and tight timelines for multiple projects, everyone selflessly brought their luggage to the company, living and working together. We ate boxed meals arranged by the company and slept on camp beds or shared makeshift beds. In such an environment, everyone worked tirelessly and collaborated closely, ultimately delivering satisfactory results to clients.

5.Share your greatest gain and growth story from working at Guanhe.
My greatest gains are undoubtedly finding my life partner and accumulating increasingly rich project experience. At Guanhe, I was fortunate to meet my current partner — we went from being single to in a relationship, and then entered marriage. As my life stages moved forward, I also grew from a project novice to an experienced professional. Additionally, I’ve met many like-minded colleagues who are both work partners and good friends in life.

6.Against the backdrop of rapid industry development, what ways do you use to continuously learn new knowledge and skills to meet work demands?
I participate in internal company training, external thematic conferences, experience exchanges with sponsors, and mutual learning among colleagues.

7.What new goals and plans do you have for your work in the future? In which areas do you hope to make greater breakthroughs?

In line with the current field of bioanalytical technology, I aim to expand into more platforms — for example, learning more about cell biology and attempting to establish cell-based detection methods. I hope to become a professional talent in cytology.

8.What do you think of Guanhe’s corporate culture, work atmosphere, and advocated values? Can you give an example?
Guanhe has an excellent overall team atmosphere: everyone works diligently during work hours and fully relaxes during leisure time. Departments perform their respective duties while supporting each other. For instance, when the Materials Department faced a surge in orders with tight deadlines, the entire company stepped up to assist, and we successfully completed the tasks perfectly.

9.What are your expectations for Guanhe’s future? What advice do you have for new colleagues at Guanhe regarding aspects they should focus on and improve in the early stages of their career growth?
I hope the company will continue to thrive and become a top-tier CRO central laboratory in the industry.
For new colleagues, my advice is to set clear goals and beliefs, and move forward steadfastly toward them. Communicate more with colleagues to exchange experiences and learn from each other for mutual progress.
