Wuxi Teddy Laboratory passed the CAP audit certification

Recently, Wuxi Teddy Medical Laboratory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wuxi Teddylab"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teddylab, successfully obtained certification from the College of American Pathologists (CAP). CAP certification is a comprehensive evaluation of a laboratory's technical management level. Achieving this certification signifies that the diagnostic quality and standards have reached the highest international level. This successful CAP certification marks that Wuxi Teddylab's testing quality and management level have been recognized by an international authoritative institution, with its standardization and accuracy meeting the highest international standards.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this audit was conducted online. Dr. Fan Guang served as the CAP audit team leader, and Zhang Tianyi, General Manager of Wuxi Teddylab, led the company's quality assurance and central laboratory scientist team to jointly prepare for the audit. The audit involved two major laboratory platforms: the pathological laboratory and the molecular laboratory, covering the complete workflow before, during, and after laboratory analysis. Wuxi Teddylab is located in the International Campus for Advanced Medical Technologies and Innovations (ICAMPUS) in Wuxi and has been operational for two years. The company's efficient preparation and high-quality passage of this inspection further demonstrates the rigor of its quality system, providing a guarantee for the scientificity, authenticity, and reliability of drug clinical trial data. This achievement lays a solid foundation forTeddylab to build the Wuxi laboratory into a globally leading one-stop CRO central laboratory service platform.
